A particularly complete example of the two-tone Rolex Cosmograph Daytona ref. 16523, featuring the classic white dial with champagne-gold register surrounds.

Produced during the celebrated “Zenith Daytona” era, this reference is powered by Rolex calibre 4030, developed from the Zenith El Primero and extensively modified by Rolex. Its balanced 40mm case, warm yellow-gold detailing and contrasting white dial give the watch a distinctive character without sacrificing the practicality of a steel sports Rolex.

The watch presents beautifully, with a clean and well-preserved dial, matching gold-tone hands and hour markers, and a clear yellow-gold tachymeter bezel. The case and bracelet have been refinished previously but retain pleasing proportions throughout. Its two-tone Oyster bracelet is complete with all 13 links, allowing it to accommodate a generous range of wrist sizes.

This is an unusually comprehensive collector’s set, accompanied by its original Rolex boxes, punched guarantee papers, document wallet, Daytona literature and additional service records. The watch has also recently undergone a pressure test, with the supporting documentation included.
