A beautifully preserved example of the Must de Cartier Vendôme, presented in the desirable 30mm large-size case with a classic cream dial.
The Vendôme is one of the more distinctive designs from the Must de Cartier era. Its perfectly round case is paired with articulated bar lugs, giving the watch a refined and immediately recognisable profile while retaining all the familiar details of vintage Cartier design.
The dial is wonderfully traditional, with black Roman numerals, a railway minute track and slender blued-steel hands set against a warm cream background. The must de Cartier signature sits neatly within the centre of the dial, while the blue cabochon-set crown provides the finishing touch.
The case is constructed in gold vermeil over sterling silver, a hallmark of the Must de Cartier collection. At approximately 30mm in diameter, this is the larger Vendôme model and wears particularly well as a unisex dress watch. Its slim proportions keep it elegant, while the unusual lug design gives it considerably more character than a conventional round watch.
Powered by a reliable Swiss quartz movement, this example is further distinguished by its excellent accompanying set. It is supplied with its original Cartier box, service paperwork and original unworn Cartier crocodile strap, making it a particularly complete example.
Currently paired with a brown textured leather strap, the watch presents beautifully and retains all the elegance and charm associated with vintage Cartier.
