At Chelsea Time & Treasures, we believe that buying or repairing a treasured piece should feel reassuring from the outset. We carefully inspect every watch we sell, and we approach all repair work with the same attention to detail, care and respect for the piece itself.

For that reason, we provide a 12-month warranty on all watches sold by us, as well as on qualifying watch and jewellery repair work carried out through our workshop. It is our way of standing behind the quality of our pieces, our workmanship, and the service we provide.

What our warranty covers

Our 12-month warranty covers faults that arise from mechanical failure or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period.

This includes, where applicable:

• Mechanical issues affecting the operation of a watch

• Faults related to servicing or repair work carried out by us

• Issues resulting from defective workmanship during an approved repair

• Problems with components replaced or fitted by us as part of a covered repair

If a covered issue arises within the warranty period, we will inspect the piece and, where the claim is valid, carry out the necessary corrective work.

Watches & Repairs

For watch and jewellery repairs

We also provide a 12-month warranty on qualifying repair and servicing work carried out by our workshop.

Where a repair has been completed by us, the warranty applies specifically to the work performed and to any components supplied and fitted by us as part of that repair. This means that if an issue later arises directly from our workmanship or from the relevant replaced part, we will inspect it and address it accordingly.

For watches purchased from us

All watches sold by Chelsea Time & Treasures are carefully assessed before sale and come with a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.

This warranty is intended to give you confidence that your watch has been prepared to a proper standard and that, should a mechanical issue arise within the covered period, you have the reassurance of ongoing support from our team.

Exclusions

As with any warranty, there are some exclusions. Our warranty does not cover:

• Accidental damage

• Intentional damage or misuse

• Damage caused by impact, dropping or improper handling

• Water damage where the watch or item has not been represented as water-resistant for that level of exposure

• Everyday wear and tear, including scratches, dents, fading, strap wear or bracelet stretch

• Damage caused by unauthorised repairs, alterations or opening of the piece by a third party

• Issues resulting from neglect, poor storage or failure to follow reasonable care guidance

• Consumable items such as batteries, unless specifically included as part of a repair warranty

• Loss, theft or disappearance

• Faults or deterioration unrelated to the original repair carried out by us

• Pre-existing issues that were identified or disclosed before sale or repair

All warranty claims are subject to inspection by our team before any work is approved under the guarantee.
