Omega Speedmaster Automatic 39mm 

A slightly less conventional take on one of Omega’s most recognisable chronographs, this late-1990s Speedmaster Automatic combines the familiar Speedmaster design with a more compact 39mm case and the practicality of an automatic movement and date display.

The black dial is particularly attractive, with contrasting silver chronograph registers giving the watch a classic reverse-panda appearance. Applied luminous hour markers, white hands and the stainless-steel tachymeter bezel retain the familiar sporting character of the Speedmaster, while the restrained proportions make this example particularly versatile.

At approximately 39mm, it wears noticeably more compactly than many modern chronographs, making it an excellent option for those who like the Speedmaster aesthetic without the larger presence of a traditional Moonwatch. The watch is presented on a black leather strap, which complements the monochromatic dial and gives the watch a slightly dressier feel.

This example remains in attractive condition for its age, with a clean dial, well-defined case and light signs of wear consistent with a watch approaching thirty years old.
